I'm young (junior at University of Dayton), inexperienced (working in the field), but I want to learn any and everything about graphic design.

 

Summer 2009, I will be interning in Brooklyn, NY for a fantastic freelance graphic designer, Annie Rudden, and I can't wait to learn from my experiences!

Extra Information:

I have a lot of interests, which makes it difficult for me to decide what I want to be when I grow up. In the meantime, teach me what you know and I will hang onto every word of wisdom you share with me. Advice, tricks, tips of the trade, tales with funny endings, stories with a moral lesson at the conclusion, I want to hear it all. But before you start, I might want to go get my journal to write some things down along the way, so I won't forget.

Topics/hobbies/interests that intrigue me: fractals, piano, guitar, mathematics, cognitive processes, the five senses, philosophy in art, color psychology, personality tests, intercultural communication, using imagination when I looks up at the clouds, hacky sack, rubik's cube, card tricks, American Sign Language, reading facial expressions, An Elegant Universe NOVA film (hosted by Brain Greene), Perfect Girls, Starving Daughters book by Courtney Martin, sushi, South Korea, movies connections, Scrubs, Ryan Reyonlds...I could go on and on, but I think you get the point.
